How do I get the WikiWriter pages online?
To go from WikiWriter to the Web: Click on Tools > Webify Project. That will make an HTML page for each page in your project. Upload the HTML page you want to the web site.
How do I add to an existing page in an online wiki?
To go from WikiWriter to the WikiWriter Wiki on the web:
- In WikiWriter, go to the page you want to move.
- Click on Edit to bring up the source.
- Open a separate browser (click on the IE browser icon on your desktop).
- Go to the WikiWriter Wiki, find (or create) the page you want to move to.
- Click on Edit the text of this page to bring up the edit box.
- Now select and copy all the text in your WikiWriter edit box, and paste it into the WikiWriter wiki edit box.
- Click on Save.
Or, you can work directly in the WikiWriter Wiki to do the writing and editing online initially, since the project is online.
Can I create a file without creating a link to it?
Yes. From the menu, do File > Open Existing (and move to the desired project directory). Then type the new page's name (with or without the .db extension -- WikiWriter will add the extension if you leave it off) into the File Name, and click on Open. The new page will be created in the selected directory and opened in WikiWriter for editing.
